Dear Valued Customers,

Effective 1 November 2026, the existing Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam (JPA) payment options available via CIMB Clicks and the CIMB OCTO App will be consolidated into one payment option:

• JPA – Pinjaman Pelajaran / Ganti Rugi

As part of this change, the following payment options will no longer be available:

• Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam – Ganti Rugi PBU
• Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam – Ganti Rugi Biasiswa
• Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam – Pinjaman mulai 1987 – 2015

What does this mean for you?

If you have previously set up a payment under any of the options above to be made automatically on a future date or on a recurring basis (scheduled payment), any such payment due on or after 1 November 2026 will no longer be processed.

What do you need to do?

If you have an affected scheduled payment, please:

1. Cancel your existing scheduled payment; and
2. Set up a new scheduled payment under the new consolidated JPA payment option.

To cancel your existing scheduled payment via CIMB Clicks:

1. Log in to CIMB Clicks.
2. Go to Pay & Transfer > Scheduled Transactions.
3. Select the relevant scheduled payment.
4. Select Stop All Future Payment.

You can then set up a new scheduled payment under the applicable JPA payment option:

• Before 1 November 2026 - select “Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam – Pinjaman mulai 2016”
• From 1 November 2026 – select “JPA – Pinjaman Pelajaran / Ganti Rugi”

No action is required if your existing scheduled payment is under “Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam – Pinjaman mulai 2016”. This payment option will be renamed “JPA – Pinjaman Pelajaran / Ganti Rugi” and your existing scheduled payment will continue as usual.
