We are pleased to inform that effective 1 July 2026, CIMB Bank Berhad and CIMB Islamic Bank Berhad will waive the RM1 fee for interbank cash withdrawal transactions at our self-service terminals, including Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) and Smart Recycler Machines (SRMs), for all Malaysian debit cardholders.

This move is taken as part of an industry-wide initiative by banks in Malaysia to make everyday banking more accessible, affordable and convenient for customers.

For customers, this means that they can now enjoy cash withdrawals at any of the 14,000 bank-operated ATMs or SRMs nationwide without paying any interbank withdrawal fee, regardless of which bank issued their debit cards.

For greater convenience and access to real-time payments, we encourage customers to continue using seamless and secure digital banking services such as online banking, card payments and DuitNow QR for their daily transactions.
