Service Tax (SST) on International Outward Remittance

 

Dear Valued Customers,

 

We refer to our earlier notice dated 29 September 2025, where we shared that Service Tax (SST) applies to fees charged for international outward remittance (sending funds from Malaysia to overseas). Please note that the SST on international outward remittance will be charged post transaction effective from 18 March 2026 until system enhancements is completed to charge the SST at the point of transactions. You may see the tax as a separate charge in your bank statement in the following month after the remittance fee is charged.
