Revision on Member Rewards Programme Redemption Bloc for Air Miles & Hotels

Dear Valued Cardholders,

We hereby give you twenty-one (21) calendar days’ notice that the Member Rewards Programme Redemption Bloc for Air Miles & Hotels will be revised and effective on 15 August 2024. The revision on the Redemption Bloc for Air Miles & Hotels will be made on CIMB Website and Member Rewards Programme Terms and Conditions. Please note that the conversion of Bonus Points to Air Miles and Hotels remain unchanged.

 

For ease of reference, a tabulation of the revised redemption bloc are set out in the table below:

 

a)     The revision on Member Rewards Programme Terms and Conditions

 

Clauses  Existing Clauses   Revised Clauses 
1 3.3.1 Customer(s)/ Debit Carholder(s) can convert 12,500 Bonus Points for 1,000 Enrich Points and must be in multiples of 1,000 Enrich Points. Conversion of Bonus Points to Enrich Points is at the rate of 12,500:1,000 and must be in multiples of 5,000 Enrich Points.
2 3.3.14 Credit Cardholders can convert 8,000 Bonus Points for 1,000 airasia points but they must be in multiples of 8,000 Bonus Points. The conversion of Bonus Points to airasia points and transfer to the Members’ airasia Account will take approximately fourteen (14) Business Days from the date of CIMB’s receipt of the redemption request from the Credit Cardholders or any other period as may be deemed appropriate by BIGLIFE. Conversion of Bonus Points to airasia points is at the rate of 8,000:1,000 and must be in multiples of 5,000 airasia points. The conversion of Bonus Points to airasia points and transfer to the Members’ airasia Account will take approximately fourteen (14) Business Days from the date of CIMB’s receipt of the redemption request from the Credit Cardholders or any other period as may be deemed appropriate by BIGLIFE.
3 3.3.30 Credit Cardholders must redeem a minimum of 1,000 partners’ miles/points and in multiples of 1,000 partners’ miles/points under the Points Transfer Partners Programme.  Conversion of Bonus Points to partners’ miles/points is at the rate of 1,000 and must be in multiples of 5,000 partners’ miles/points under the Points Transfer Partners Programme.
