• MyKad OR
• Birth Certificate AND MyKad of parents/ guardian for Minor (below 18 years old) without MyKad 

Self Employed

• Latest 3 months bank account statements OR
• Any document proof of source of income

Employed/ Payroll/ Salary

• Employment letter OR
• EPF statement OR
• Payslip OR
• Letter of offer for employment

Students

(University/College)

• Student Identification Card (issued by University/College) OR
• Letter from University/ College confirming the student identity and admission/enrolment, type and duration of programme OR
• University/ College Admission Letter

Original Identification:

• Valid Passport (minimum validity of 6 months from date of account opening)

AND

• Supporting documents below (whichever applicable)

Note: For Foreigner with Malaysian Permanent Resident (PR), please provide the MyPR or MyKas

Working in Malaysia

• Valid working Visa/ Employment Pass (minimum 6 months validity) AND
• Employment Letter AND
• Proof of income with minimum RM10,000 salary (Not required for CIMB@Work payroll customer)

Studying in Malaysia

• Valid Student Visa/ Pass (minimum 6 months validity) AND
• Student Identification Card (issued by accredited local University/College) AND
• Letter from local University/ College confirming the student identity and admission/enrolment, type and duration of programme

Dependent Visa / Pass / Spouse Permit

• Valid Dependent Visa / Pass / Spouse Permit (minimum 6 months validity) AND

If you are Housewife/House-husband:

• Marriage certificate/ Any proof of relationship with the Principal Visa Holder AND
• Bank Statement from source of fund / Letter from local University/ College confirming the student identity and admission/enrolment, type and duration of programme

Malaysia My Second Home Program (MM2H)

 - Visa still in process 

MM2H pledging with CIMB to meet MM2H Visa Requirement

• Conditional Approval Letter from the Ministry of Tourism, Art & Culture Malaysia (MOTAC) or Malaysia Immigration Department / Acknowledgement Letter issued by Malaysia Immigration Department from a Licensed MM2H agents AND
• Approved Social Visit Pass AND
• Proof of residential address in Malaysia (e.g., stamped Tenancy Agreement or Utility Bill such as Water, Phone, Electricity, etc)

Malaysia My Second Home Program (MM2H)

 - with Approved Visa

MM2H pledging not with CIMB

• Valid MM2H Visa (minimum 6 months validity) AND
• Fixed Deposit certificate pledged with other bank with certified true copy from the bank AND
• Proof of residential address in Malaysia (e.g., stamped Tenancy Agreement or Utility Bill such as Water, Phone, Electricity, etc) AND
• Minimum initial deposit of RM100,000 with RM50,000 must be maintained throughout the MM2H programme.

Singapore Citizen

• Singapore IC / Singapore Driving License AND

For account opening outside of Johor branches:

• Proof of residential address in Malaysia with same state as the account opening Branch (e.g., stamped Tenancy Agreement or Utility Bill such as Water, Phone, Electricity, etc )
