Discontinuation of Citibank WorldLink Cheque Services (Effective 20 February 2026)

Dear Valued Customers,

Effective 20 February 2026, Citibank WorldLink (WL) cheque services in all currencies will be discontinued at all CIMB branches.

WL cheques issued before this date will continue to be honoured in accordance with WL guidelines. Cheques issued on or after the effective date will be rejected and returned unpaid.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused. You may continue to perform remittance transactions using our alternative payment options via Foreign Telegraphic Transfer and SpeedSend through CIMB OCTO App, CIMB Clicks Web, or at CIMB branches.
