What is a Cooling-Off period?

Starting 30 June 2023, as part of our security measures to combat fraud, there will be a cooling-off period of 12 hours when you install the CIMB Clicks / CIMB OCTO App for the first time or on a new device. This additional measure is to prevent any unauthorised access to your CIMB account and will be in place of a call verification. 

 

You will only be able to perform and approve banking transactions via the CIMB Clicks / CIMB OCTO App in 12 hours upon completing the first-time login on a new mobile device.
