When do I need to input the Challenge Response Code?

Challenge Response Code is needed when an Authoriser wants to approve a transaction or when a System Administrator wants to approve an administrative task.

 

During Approval, an Authoriser or System Administrator (for Security Device holder) is prompted with a Challenge Number. This Challenge Number must be keyed into the Security Device to generate a Response Number. This Response Number is then keyed into BizChannel@CIMB.

 

Note: Security Device is applicable for STANDARD and CUSTOMISED Package only, and not applicable for LITE Package.
