If the certificate owner does not pay the contribution before the next coverage start date, no takaful coverage will be provided and no claims will be payable on the following months. A maximum of up to 6 months to reactivate the takaful coverage is provided from the coverage end date as shown in the latest e-certificate. Immediately after 6 consecutive months of non-payment of contribution, the certificate will be lapsed and the certificate owner will be required to resubmit a new application.
