In 2020, CIMB Artober became the first ever art and culture campaign created by a local bank in collaboration with 10 of the most important commercial art galleries in Malaysia.
CIMB Artober aims to support artists by improving the marketplace, preserving livelihoods and the economic viability of our local arts community. This is in line with Sustainability Development Goal (SDG) 11 on sustainable cities and communities, under which Target 11.4 is to strengthen efforts to protect and safeguard the world's cultural and natural heritage.
