Non-3D Secure online transactions are online purchases made without the 3D Secure authentication. To enable this type of transaction (known as Card-Not-Present (CNP)), cardholders need to opt-in. Customers may opt-in via CIMB OCTO App with the following steps:

Step 1: Login to CIMB OCTO App

Step 2: On the CIMB OCTO App Home Screen, Select “More” > “Services” > “Manage Card”

Step 3: Select “Debit Card-Not-Present Transaction”

Step 4: Select the card you would like to enable for CNP and switch on the toggle

Note: Only activated cards will be displayed for selection.

Step 5: Click “Proceed” to enable the debit card CNP feature

Step 6: Authorise the transaction via SecureTAC

Step 7: Your card is now successfully activated
